Rear features a large Takasugi clan motif and kanji text of quote "Even if my body decays on the fields of Musashi, my Japanese spirit will live forever" together with Takasugi kanji over a blue/green shaded traditional Japanese floral design. Front consists of small SkewerNMB logo and Takasugi portrait with kanji name. Takasugi Shinsaku was a 19th century samurai who was pivotal in the Meiji Restoration, which included battles outside of Japan itself. He accomplished a lot despite passing at an early age of 27 from tuberculosis
